Client Communication PolicyEdison Westbrook Consulting believes clear and consistent communication is vital to a successful partnership. Here's what you can expect—Preferred Methods: We primarily communicate via email for project updates, deliverables, and scheduling. Urgent inquiries can be directed to our phone line.Response Time: We aim to respond to all emails and phone calls within 24 business hours.Regular Updates: You'll receive bi-weekly progress reports outlining completed tasks, upcoming milestones, and any questions we may have.Open Communication: We encourage open and honest communication. Feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you might have.Dedicated Contact: Each project is assigned a dedicated point of contact within our team to ensure streamlined communication.
Payment and BillingWe accept payment by credit card, Paypal, and automated check.Fees: Following an introductory call, assessment fees for initial consultations are applied as a credit towards any service contract. A detailed proposal outlining project scope and fees will be provided before any work commences. This proposal may include hourly rates, project-based fees, or retainer agreements.Payment Terms: Payment is due upon project acceptance for one-time projects. Retainers are typically billed monthly, in advance. Retainers may also be paid annually at a 5% discount, billed at the start of the 12-month term.Late Fees: A late fee of up to $15 or 15% of the overdue amount, whichever is greater, will be applied to invoices that are not paid by the due date. Late fees will apply unless otherwise prohibited or limited by applicable law, in which case amount or percentage may vary.Changes and Cancellations: We require a written 30-day notice for any changes to project scope or cancellations.For a complete understanding of our payment and billing practices, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Termination PolicyOur commitment is to provide ongoing value to our clients. However, there may be situations where termination of services becomes necessary. This policy outlines the grounds for such action:Non-payment: Consistent failure to meet payment deadlines outlined in the service agreement.Failure to Participate: Client misconduct or failure to follow program guidelines, including failure to actively participate in the program.Scope Creep: Client requests exceeding the agreed-upon scope of services without a revised agreement.Breach of Contract: Violation of any terms or conditions outlined in the service agreement by either party.Mutual Agreement: Clients may terminate at any time with 30-day written notice.We encourage open communication to address any concerns before reaching termination. We strive for a smooth transition and will assist with transferring project materials when applicable.
Refund PolicyCommitment to Service: At Edison Westbrook Consulting, we dedicate ourselves to providing valuable consulting services and expertise. However, due to the customized nature of our work and the time invested in understanding your specific needs, we cannot offer refunds for services rendered.Open Communication: We encourage open communication throughout the engagement. This ensures you're comfortable with the scope of services and investment.Project Adjustments: While refunds are not offered, we understand needs may evolve. Alesha Edison Westbrook is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Edison Westbrook Consulting, a boutique firm that helps mission-driven organizations and leaders tell their most impactful stories through strategic communications, brand development, and fundraising solutions. A former Communications Director turned entrepreneur, Alesha brings 15+ years of experience in marketing, design, and nonprofit development. She is dedicated to helping clients build authentic brands, expand their influence, and make a real difference in their communities.Throughout her career, Alesha has played a key role in organizing and executing over 60 fundraising and promotional events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events with up to 500 attendees. Her expertise in brand management, nonprofit development, and visual design for campaigns, annual reports, appeals, and events has helped raise over $14M in donations. Clayton Edison manages EWC's tech infrastructure, handling troubleshooting, system updates, and implementing tools to improve efficiency. His attention to detail ensures projects stay on track and meet high standards, making him a key contributor to the team. Clayton is a trained musician and competitive gamer, currently pursuing a degree in cyber security. He's a proud "cat dad" to 2 rescue kittens and enjoys trying new restaurants.
Daniel Oliver
Operations Associate
Daniel Oliver is an Operations Associate at EWC, where he manages client communications and supports project coordination to ensure smooth execution. He streamlines internal processes and addresses administrative challenges, keeping projects on schedule and at a high standard of efficiency across the team. Daniel holds a B.A. in Business Administration. He loves traveling with his family, and going to MLB games with his brothers.
Miriam Reid
Business Development Associate
Miriam Reid is a Business Development Associate at EWC. She conducts market research and helps shape strategic direction to identify new opportunities. Miriam works closely with the team to build strong client relationships, develop proposals, and create solutions that support the firm’s growth. Miriam's education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration. She likes attending food truck rodeos and going waterfall spotting with her dogs, Mamba and Bee.
